Causal Foundry brings personalization technologies to solve some of the most significant challenges in healthcare and medicine. Causal Foundry researches and builds machine learning products to personalize clinical and behavioral interventions adapted to the individual’s genes, clinical parameters, environment, and habits to ensure that each person lives their healthiest possible life.

mothers2mothers (m2m) provides health care to families who need it most, delivered by women who know them best. We’re building a healthy, thriving Africa. Reached more than 16 million people in sub-Saharan Africa with life-changing health services.

Through their Mentor Mother Model, m2m employs local women living with HIV as community health workers to meet the growing and urgent health needs of the communities we serve. These “Mentor Mothers” deliver integrated primary health care services to dramatically improve the health and well-being of: Women, Children, Adolescents, Special Populations, and more.

To make their work more effective and streamlined, m2m has partnered with Causal Foundry to create the CHARM platform. This platform helps track and manage client information, appointments, and Peer Mentor performance in real-time.

I led a cross-functional team from requirements gathering to the final MVP application in a record amount of time. CHARM is an AI-powered tool that centralizes clinical and behavioral data, enabling Peer Mentors to deliver personalized care more efficiently. It also offers insights and metrics that empower Peer Mentors to make informed decisions, improving both their practice and client outcomes.

Key features of the CHARM platform include:

▶️ Performance Tracking: Track and manage Peer Mentor performance with real-time insights, helping to identify areas for continuous improvement.
▶️ Appointment Management: Stay organized with a simplified calendar, appointment tracking, and ensuring no client is overlooked.
▶️ AI-Driven Insights: CHARM leverages AI to highlight the most relevant information, minimizing distractions and streamlining decision-making processes.
▶️ Personalized Notifications: Receive timely notifications to stay on top of key tasks and client needs.

The Android Application is built using the latest architecture recommended by Google Android, i.e., MVVM with Clean Architecture using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. There are no XML-based views in the app, solely built using Jetpack Compose along with Dagger Hilt as Dependency injection.
