The Challenge

Aide Chemists operates a chain of 20+ retail pharmacies across four regions in Ghana. Customers faced friction accessing both OTC and prescription medications navigating fragmented purchasing experiences, limited payment options, and no unified system for delivery, pickup, or inventory visibility across their pharmacy network.

The Solution

I led a cross-functional team from requirements gathering to MVP launch, building Momentum an all-in-one pharma e-commerce platform that simplifies how patients and customers access medications. From browsing and purchasing to delivery tracking and pharmacy pickup, Momentum brings the entire healthcare retail experience into a single, seamless app with AI-driven personalization powering product recommendations, promotions, and adaptive user journeys.

What I Built

Pharma E-Commerce: End-to-end purchasing flow for OTC and prescription medications, with product-level discounts, order promos, and a multi-level content feed

Flexible Fulfillment: Supports both home delivery and pharmacy pickup across Aide Chemists' owned and peer pharmacy network

Multiple Payment Modes: Integrated range of payment options tailored to the Ghanaian market, reducing checkout friction

Rider App: Dedicated delivery application for riders to manage and fulfill orders in real time

Inventory Management System: Warehouse and stock management tooling for Aide Chemists' internal operations team to process orders and track inventory

Pharmacy Web Portal: Web-based portal enabling individual pharmacies to manage and process pickup orders on their end

Impact

Deployed across Aide Chemists' network in Ghana bringing a modern, accessible pharma retail experience to patients across four regions and laying the foundation for scalable B2B and B2C growth across the network.
