The Challenge

Creating professional-looking posters and flyers traditionally required design skills or expensive software. Everyday users, from small business owners and event organizers to students and marketers, needed an accessible, template-driven design tool that delivered polished results in minutes, directly from their phone.

The Solution

Poster Maker is an all-in-one poster and flyer design app for Android, putting thousands of customizable templates and a full creative toolkit in the hands of anyone who needs to make something that looks great, fast.

As an Android Engineer on the project, I owned day-to-day feature updates, bug resolution, and led the redesign of the core editor components to deliver a more intuitive, UX-driven creative experience.

What I Built & Improved

Template Library: Maintained and expanded a library of thousands of poster templates spanning events, business, marketing, education, and more

Full Customization Suite: Text editing, color and font controls, image uploads, shape and object tools, giving users complete creative flexibility over any template

Multi-Format Export: PNG, JPG, and PDF export support for every use case from digital sharing to print-ready output

Ongoing Maintenance: Resolved user-reported issues and shipped continuous improvements, keeping the app stable, performant, and highly rated
