The Challenge

Modern social media has reduced brand discovery to whoever spends the most on ads, drowning out smaller, independent brands and overwhelming consumers with irrelevant content. Tailorie was founded on a different belief: that brands and consumers should find each other based on genuine compatibility, shared values, and trusted recommendations, not advertising budgets.

The Solution

Tailorie is a social discovery platform that connects consumers with brands that authentically align with their interests, tastes, and preferences, powered by recommendations from people they trust. As Senior Software Engineer and Technical Project Manager, I led both the engineering execution and cross-functional coordination to bring the platform to life

My Role

Android Development: Built the Tailorie Android application as the Senior Software Engineer, delivering a polished, social-first experience focused on brand discovery, personalized recommendations, and community-driven storytelling

Technical Project Management: Coordinated across design, product, and engineering to keep delivery on track, translating product vision into clear technical roadmaps and ensuring quality at every milestone

Social Discovery UX: Implemented core discovery and matching flows that connected consumers to brands based on personal interests and social recommendations rather than paid placement

Brand & Consumer Matching: Built features enabling Tailorie's core mission, democratizing access between consumers and brands regardless of marketing spend
